My
Father at Gt Yaremouth Norfolk England about 1955 age 40. He was a Jack the Lad,
a musician ( saxophone, clarinet,
electronic organ and whatever else took his fancy),
a lover of women he always chased them, boat lover, caravanner, swimmer, sub
aqua diver, non drinker, non smoker, made lovely dresses (only kidding), war
service with the RAF in various positions including prison, radio technician,
television technician the last company was Radio Rentals in Scotland, car
mechanic, Masonic member of St John's
lodge Dalmuir Clydebank which is the lodge where we are all members.
Died after six weeks in St Joeseph's Hospice in Clydebank with My mother, myself, and Sandra with him. The last music he played, the week before he died was Stranger on the Shore, on the clarinet sitting in a chair. The 20 piece band he had been playing with came in to do a concert in the Hospice and he as the band leader fronted them and conducted. I was the Bass player in the Band. On the last number he got my mother up for a dance.....Just an old softy.
He died not asking for anyone or for anybody to forgive him. He seemed to except what he was and what he had done in his life and left not protesting but quietly.

in 1912 in Plumstead, Norfolk, England and at this date lives in Scotland. Called Doff, Dot, Dorothy and
Georgina was born Dollie Hazelwood......
