This is Second avenue 1906 and in one of these closes, 80 the Hume Family was brought up. To the left is where Singer sewing machine factory is sited. The home where built outside the Burgh boundaries so no planning regulations. Poorly built and with flat roofs and had the Name "Holy City".
This is the View looking West along Second Avenue from Kilbowie Road. The
"Holy City" are the flat roofed buildings in the distance.

The middle is What survived of the flat roofed buildings Second Avenue runs left
to right in the middle. The buildings all missing are the result of the Blitz
Raid where the family lost their home.
