My Grandfather William Bell Hume.

Born August 14, 1904 in Bridgetown, Glasgow, died October 13, 1943 in Drumchapel of tuberculosis. 

Worked as a machine inspector in Singers factory, Clydebank.  Played drums in his band named Le Roi.

Married/divorced  

Lilias Affleck - one child: Jean Hume born 1930, married Leslie Mushens                                             

                                   

Married Mary Miller Moore - two children:                                   

Ernest Hume born 1933, married Sheila Rosemary Phillips(Canada).               

Janice Jemima Gardner Hume born 1939, married Robert Allan Lunn(Canada).
